DragonDiva Operatic Theatre is holding auditions for the following 2011 events and productions:
· Opera Cabaret – Saturday, May 14, 2011 (All voice types required)
· HMS Pinafore* – August 2011 (rehearsals to start in mid-June, dates to be confirmed by audition date)
· Hansel and Gretel* – December 2011 (dates TBD)
*HMS Pinafore and Hansel and Gretel are NON-Equity productions.
Audition Requirements
Principal Roles - Three opera arias (contrasting styles) of your choice. One aria must be in English.
Chorus/Supporting Roles - Two selections from the opera, operetta, or musical theatre repertoire of your choice. One selection must be in English.
Audition Information
Location: Carousel Theatre, Granville Island (large rehearsal hall)
Date: Wednesday, March 2, 2011
Time: 6PM – 10PM
