DragonDiva Operatic Theatre Presents: Old Maid and the Thief by Gian Carlo Menotti

DragonDiva is proud to present our 5th Anniversary production - Menotti's Old Maid and the Thief.

Set in 1940, the audience watches a radio opera being recorded live, including a warm up act, commercial breaks, and all the backstage shenanigans we don't usually get to see. Salacious!

For the first time ever, we are presenting our production in multiple venues:

Gabriola Theatre Festival, Gabriola Island

We will be the first group ever to present an opera at this invite-only festival!

Our home since we first began in 2007; we couldn't do a 5th anniversary production without stopping by here!

We are very proud to join forces with the Evergreen Cultural Centre for the first annual Opera on the Lake. These two nights will be capped off by a candlelit dessert reception on the patio overlooking Lafarge Lake!
